the company was founded in 1906 in gütersloh. In 1992, then in its
third generation, the elmar flötotto collection was created in order
to distinguish the collection from all other flotötto brands. the new
brand is open, impartial and available for all. the company achieved global
success in 1996 with its "lumibär", a bear-shaped light. elmar
flötotto produces furniture, lighting and objects that are innovative,
stylish and have their own character.
